Timmy sets the pace at 11th Milo International Junior All Stars

The 11th Edition of the annual Milo International Junior All Stars Bowling Championship at Sunway Megalanes KL, has commenced. It will run from 8-17 December.

To kickstart the tournament, 67 local bowlers aged 23 and below participated in a 3-game handicapped 9 pintap roll off. Coming out tops were Nur Shahira (Champion), Natasha Roslan(Second), and Timmy Tan(Third).

But the day, however, belonged to 16 years old Timmy Tan. He had earlier¬†shot the Junior All Stars’ first Perfect 300 game for his Singles (a pre-requisite of the tournament) to earn himself a RM1000 reward. This is a daily bonus for bowlers who bowl a perfect game. He then went on to shoot a 754 series (3 games) in his Masters Qualifying for the Boys Graded Division.

Timmy has blossomed and grown into a more matured bowler. Compared to the days when he first joined my BowlExcel training two years ago, he has come of age. He should be ready to give his more illustrious seniors a run for their money any time. Let’s see how he fares against the top junior bowlers from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and other countries.

Will try to keep you posted on more tournament highlights at my Facebook Fan Page

Have a great holiday!
