Perfect Day for bowler Siti Shazwani of Malaysia

Although there was a notable absence of many top foreign youth bowlers, this year’s 11th Milo International Junior All Stars Bowling Championship nevertheless posed stiff competition for the younger participants.

Malaysia’s Siti Shazwani ended the Junior All Stars Bowling Championship 2010 with a bang. Not only did she start the Girls Open Masters Finals with a perfect 300 game, but she cruised through the other nine games and ended as top seed riding on 2298 pinfalls. Siti only needed a single 233-208 game to edge Singapore’s Clara Lau in the final step ladder round to cap the title she had set her eyes on from the beginning of the year.

Timmy sets the pace at 11th Milo International Junior All Stars

The 11th Edition of the annual Milo International Junior All Stars Bowling Championship at Sunway Megalanes KL, has commenced. It will run from 8-17 December.

To kickstart the tournament, 67 local bowlers aged 23 and below participated in a 3-game handicapped 9 pintap roll off. Coming out tops were Nur Shahira (Champion), Natasha Roslan(Second), and Timmy Tan(Third).

An afternoon with Dave Smart of 900 GLOBAL

Who better to learn about ball dynamics than from someone who has spent a good part of his life working with probowlers? Dave Smart is a former ball driller for probowlers and PBA Tour Technical Consultant.

Yesterday, Dave, who now represents 900 Global Headquarters in Texas, USA, was in town to conduct a 900 Global and AMF Bowling Clinic and Ball Demonstration organised by SHR Bowling Proshop and Trocadero Bowl.
